Ducks will be launched into Goldsmith Gulch at George Wallace Park at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday May 4th, 2008. The racecourse will be established by the Denver Rubber Duck Drop committee before race day.
A maximum of 3,000 rubber ducks will be entered into the Race. All ducks entered will be provided and shall remain the property of the Denver Rubber Duck Drop committee.
A number will be marked on each duck which then corresponds to the number on each ticket. The person’s name that appears on the entry ticket corresponding to the duck in order of finish will be awarded a prize. The entry portion of each ticket must be filled out (Name and Phone and/or Address) and given to the duck committee before the beginning of the race or delivered to the following addresses by May 3rd, 2008: Councilwoman Lehmann; 3540 S. Poplar St..; Denver, CO; 80237.
Winners will be announced at George Wallace Park after the conclusion of the race. Winners not present will be notified by mail services and/or telephone. Race winners do not have to be present to win.
By entering, you release Presenter and its officers, directors, and staff and any other related entities from any and all liabilities with respect to prizes. By entering, a winner consents to the promotional use of their name and likeness without additional compensation.
No purchase necessary in order to enter or win. Presenter does request a donation of $5.00 per entry to benefit the Southeast Denver Public Schools: Bradley International, Holm Elementary, Samuels Elementary, Southmoor Elementary, and Slavens K-8. Free entry tickets detail the charitable fund raising purpose of the event and are not encouraged. However, one free entry ticket per person can be obtained by presenting a hand written request therefore to the address listed in paragraph three (3) above and submitted therewith a self-addressed, stamped return envelope for mailing of one entry ticket. Request for free entry tickets made after 5:00 p.m. on April 29th, 2008 or after 700 ducks have been adopted will not be honored.
Chances of winning depend on the total number of qualified entries. |
