Take a quack at winning fantastic prizes and help support Denver Public Schools!
The 4th Annual Denver Rubber Duck Drop will take place on Sunday, May 4th, 12:30pm at George Wallace Park in Denver. On that day, 3,000 sponsored rubber ducks will be dropped into Goldsmith Gulch and race for fabulous prizes. All Duck Derby proceeds benefit four Denver Public Elementary Schools: Bradley International, Samuels, Holm, Slavens and Southmoor Elementary.
How it Works:
Participants can sponsor one duck for $5 or five ducks for $20. Sponsors of the first ducks to cross the finish line will receive fantastic prizes.
How Can I Sponsor a Duck?
Sponsoring a duck is easy! Visit Whole Foods Markets at Tamarac before the race or sponsor a duck at George Wallace Park the day of the race. When you make your donation, you will fill out contact information on a numbered entry ticket that corresponds to a numbered rubber duck. You don’t even have to come to the race to win!
What is the Duck Fest?
In addition to the excitement of watching the race, the Duck Drop will include a Duck Fest from 12:30 p.m to 3 p.m. The Duck Fest will feature fun, interactive environmental exhibits to educate and entertain race spectators, along with live music from the Denver Municipal Band, and great food.
